Thank You!

February 3, 2008 – 1:08 pm

We want to sincerely thank the 396 facilitators and attendees of VizThink ‘08.    We are truly gratified by all of the positive energy and feedback from each of you.  We’ll be launching a survey today to all attendees to get your overall opinion about the conference.

We’ve been getting a lot of questions about what’s next.  Here are just a few of the things we have in the works:

- A social networking system, so that you can connect with other visual thinkers
- Podcasts (including one with Noah Iliinsky and Chuck Frey in mid-February)
- Regional communities (Toronto, Netherlands, San Francisco, etc)
- Research (including our first on visualization in learning)
- Regional events
- Online events

Maybe the biggest upcoming announcement will be VizThink Europe ‘08, likely in September or October.  Plans are actively in the works and hopefully we’ll be able to announce specific dates and locations in the next 2-3 weeks.

Thanks again for making the current event such a huge success, and keep checking the blog for the latest updates on the VizThink community.
