New Website Launched!
March 24, 2008 – 2:49 pmWhat is VizThink? Are you just about conferences? What is visual thinking? What do you mean when you say community? These are just a few of the questions we get all the time, and we’re working hard to answer them not just with words, but with actions. the first is our brand new website at http://www.vizthink.com. Haven’t checked it out in a while? Well, there’s lots of new features on their way, but the biggest is a shift in emphasis from just conferences to tools, services, and resourcs for the community. Here are just a few of the announcements you’ll hear more about in the coming weeks:
- A dedicated social network for visual thinkers like you
- Regional communities like those already underway in Toronto and London with additions in Washington DC, New York, Chicago, and the Netherlands following closely
- A dediciated community evangelist as part of the VizThink team
- More podcasts and webinars
- A visual thinking encyclopedia (maybe vizpedia, or something like that)
- Regional workshops (announcement coming later today)
- VizThink Europe ‘08 (announcement in the next few days)
- VizThink North America ‘09 (announcement on April 3rd)
